WEEKLY BULLETIN

Today’s readings tell us about a very patient and compassionate God Who is hopeful that the so-called “weeds” among us will be converted. They warn us that we should not be in a hurry to eliminate such elements from the Church, or society, or the family, based on unwarranted and/or hasty judgment.  We need to practice patience; we need allow God to judge us and others as “weeds” or wheat; and we need to grow up as healthy wheat in God’s field, leaving the “weeds” for Jesus to take care of.  Let us identify according to the explanation of Jesus about the parable of “Weeds sowing among Wheat”: Wheats are represented those who lived and applied the Word of God living by Jesus’ teachings; while Weeds are those who do not follow Jesus’ teachings and living according to the worldly manners.

Reminders of our parish activities:

1. Don’t forget Monday July 20 beginning at 5:45PM in Church ~ Examination of Conscience and Celebration of Reconciliation for St. Francis’ Jubilee.  Beginning at 7PM in the Parish Hall will show the movie “Brother Sun, Sister Moon”: the Life of St. Francis of Assisi.  On Thursday July 23, gathering at St. Francis of Assisi in Grapevine at 645PM for Eucharistic Celebration and fulfillment of the Jubilee Indulgences.
2. Our Parish begins the project of Pictorial Directory scheduling for September 22 till 24 of 2026 for family picture taking.  This weekend all families will receive an introductory flyer explaining the parish project.  Signing up will begin next weekend July 26.  Need volunteers to assist in this project.  Please call Olivia Frias (817-300-9341) or Lilia Morales (817-255-0465) or the office for volunteering in this project.
3. Beginning next weekend, we will sell raffle tickets for the Parish Fall Festival.  Support your parish annual fund raising in operation of the parish.
