WEEKLY BULLETIN

This week message:  The king did not do what the servant begged: “Be patient with me.” Instead, he immediately forgave the whole debt. Absolutely unthinkable!  This overwhelming, unexpected, compassionate forgiveness of the king makes the servant’s behavior toward his fellow servant all the more despicable. It also helps us understand Jesus’ response to Peter’s question about how often we are to forgive one another. God’s forgiveness of us knows no limits and is always granted. Anything less is our forgiveness of one another brings the same judgment against us that Jesus renders against the “wicked servant.”  Grudges among families, communities, nations are often passed on from generation to generation. For example, family feuds go on for decades during which time members do not speak to each other. The only thing that can break the cycle of hate, fear, and disunity is the gift of forgiveness.

REMINDER OF THE WEEK:

2. Our Festival is scheduled on Saturday September 26 from 2PM till 9PM.  Come, meet and support our annual Fall Festival.  We need volunteers to serve on the day.  Sign-up sheet is available here by clicking to see what we need.
3. There will be ONLY one Mass on Saturday September 26 at 5PM bilingual due to the festival.  NO 7PM MASS.
4. Faith Formation will begin TODAY September 13 for all levels.
5. We are updating parish data system of all membership.  Please cooperate with us to provide your correct information of names, head of the family, members in the your family, email, and phone number.  A representative will contact you.
6. Parish Pictorial Directory is underway.  We still have spaces on Monday September 28 to sign up.  Please call the office.
