Good Shepherd Sunday – Fourth Sunday of Easter
In the gospel Jesus states clearly that he came so that his followers might have abundant Life. Jesus uses the metaphor of a caring shepherd and sheep to indicate how his followers might receive that Life: by hearing his voice and their name, by following the Good Shepherd, by recognizing whose voice calls them. Hearing, following, recognizing we are to open our ears in faith, open our hearts in trust, open our minds in love. This is the way to abundant Life. The Gate is wide open. Will you enter with your active life?
Thank you to many of you have renewed and registered to serve the parish in various ministries especially for 5PM and 8AM Masses. Thank you to the following talented parish men who are assisting in welding the patio in the back of the parish hall for our future activities and keeping our parish landscape look wonderful: Gaston Ortega, Pedro Morales, Everardo Martinez, Gumer Cabrera, Federico Perez, Francisco Alvarado, Jesus Alaniz, and Gilbert & his company.
Our Parish Guardian Ministry has been faithfully served by many men and woman at the masses. We still in need more volunteers to implement at English Masses.
