The central theme of today’s readings is the care God can take of us, meeting our physical and spiritual needs in the EUCHARIST, if we put our trust in Him. He shares Jesus, His only begotten Son and become Incarnate so that Jesus can be Infinite generosity both prepares us for the Heavenly banquet, and challenges us to share our blessings with others. The gospel according to Mark gave more detail of how the disciples have five loaves and two fishes. It came from a lad, a young boy bringing his lunch to follow Jesus. The gospel is centered in the Mass which is the Eucharist “Giving the Father Thanks for His Son”. What do we bring to the Eucharist? Do we bring our lunch box to Mass?

- Last in person sign up for Parish Pictorial Directory. After this weekend you can sign up online. All registered families are encouraged to take this FREE opportunity to take family picture for the parish. It will be used for the Pictorial Directory and Parish Administration Date. Families who do not wish to take picture MUST submit an electronic family picture by the end of August for Parish Administration. We need to identify who we are claiming as members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

- Our celebration of Assumption of Mary is coming. The mass will be scheduled as Friday night August 14 at 7PM in Spanish and Saturday August 15 at 8AM in English.
