The readings for this week speak of God’s saving presence for His people and the need for trusting Faith in our loving and providing God Who always keeps us company. God reveals to us in ways that we are unexpected as in the First Reading how God revealed to Elijah the prophet seeking his help. God was not in the violent wind, earthquake, and fire; but in a tiny whispering sound. God always reveal to us in the unordinary things around us. We just have to cry out to Him. Like in the gospel episode explains how Peter. for a few seconds, lost his trusting Faith in Jesus and, so, failed his attempt to walk on water, but was rescued when he called on Jesus for help. When life threatens you, who are you going to call? When your loved one is facing death threatening, who are you going to call? Are you keeping God in your view and your life at all times?

- The Solemnity of Mary Assumption: Masses will be celebrating in Spanish on Friday August 14 at 7PM and in English on Saturday August 15 at 8AM. Come and celebrate with your community.
- The 75th Anniversary Pictorial Directory is going on before we close registration. You can register online now. There are no more in person registration. Families who do not take this opportunity still need to send to us for Parish Administration a family photo for our parish datas by the end of August 2026. - Preparation for the Fall Festival is underway. Support your parish once a year of this annual fund raising for general and project operation.
- Preparation for our 75th Anniversary Celebration is underway. We will inform you more how to participate with our parish celebrations.
- Faith Formation Orientation’s is scheduled the week of August 17th till August 21st. All families who have registered with Faith Formation please see the website and electronic bulletin for your schedule. Families who have not registered please contact the office for more information.
- Our parish starting new Marriage & Family Ministry calls Living in Christ (in Spanish only). Announcements are presented at Spanish Mass and signing up are going on immediately. The ministry will begin on September 18, 2026.
- We are in the process of organizing the parish membership. Registered families will be contact for more information. An information of membership will publish of criteria of membership coming soon. Please read carefully and make your decision of how to remain as members of the parish.
