Good Friday Message – 04/03/2026

Friday of the Lord’s Passion

On this day when we remember in solemn celebration that Jesus suffered and died for us, we are reminded that this is not a somber day, but a day to celebrate the glory of the cross.  Jesus embraced death so that the glory of new Life might burst forth.

Today our parish live the Lord’s Passion through the following activities: (1) At 3PM outdoor, the living stations of the cross involved by families carrying to their selected stations; (2) Beginning at 6PM we gather outside at the Life Teen House (the praetorium) where we will witness the trial and condemnation of Jesus and walking with Him to the Calvary for crucifixion; (3) we celebrate the Good Friday Service with the Passion Reading-Intercessions of the Church-Veneration of the Body of Jesus from the Cross – Witnessing taken down the Body of Jesus – Entombment – Reception of Communion, (4) and procession with Jesus to His Burial Tomb and veneration His Body at the Tomb.
